For quite some time there has been a movement to push for more time for the more important courses; these courses include the language arts, science, and math. A lot of studies have said the only thing that can improve scores is more time. Some schools followed this belief and cuts programs like art, music, physical education, and other classes considered not important to the side.
The people that believe in more study time in sacrifice of the arts argue that more time equals more success. They also believe that the essential classes are more beneficial to improving students lives, careers, and also beneficial to improving are country with are greatest resource, the children.
