This week, we’re at the New Hampshire AHPERD Convention! Waterville Valley is just an awesome venue for this event. This location always seems to bring back numerous great memories of the time we were invited to provide the nightly “Meet & Greet New Friends on Your Feet” activities many years ago (Remember the “National Elementary PE Conferences” sponsored by NASPE and Human Kinetics?). It was during the summer, so we made a family vacation of it…. drove up from North Carolina. It was great!
Wild Coyote Grill! This is one of the best “unknown” restaurants ever. After setting-up the exhibits booth, I was able to get a yummy bowl of clam chowder and the best apple fruit salad ever! The restaurant has great views of Mount Tecumseh, Mount Osceola, and Snow’s Mountain. Later on today, Jim Ross and I hope to spot moose grazing around an open meadow or in a pond or two!
