As reported in several blogs:
In the appropriations bill for the remainder of the year, only $27 million is provided for Part D of Title V of ESEA (p. 326), which includes PEP, but also many other programs.
NASPE spoke with Carlette Huntley. She says that the Department won’t make any decisions about what they do with that money until the Congress actually passes the bill. They will post on the PEP website within 2 days of the bill’s passage.
Applicants are encouraged to continue working on and submitting applications.
